COMMUNITY OFFICE

In accordance with Article 27 of the UCEI Statute, the Secretary directs the Community offices and staff; he is responsible for the day-to-day management and organisation of services; he prepares and countersigns the Community’s budget and final accounts; he signs administrative acts where the President’s signature is not required; he attends board meetings, draws up the relevant minutes and prepares the necessary elements for the relevant deliberations and implements the board resolutions.

The current Secretary General of the Jewish Community of Venice is Michael Calimani.
