Since 2019, three weather events have hit the Lido Jewish Cemetery, threatening the safety of the entire cemetery area. There are more than 200 trees that need to be secured and another 150 unsafe trees will have to be felled, before they fall on the graves, as has unfortunately already happened, causing extensive damage.
